About Ballon d'Or AI, an Independent Golden Ball Video Maker

Who is behind Ballon d'Or AI, what the award-night video maker will and will not do, how we verify our own pages and how to get in touch with us.

Ballon d'Or AI is a small web tool built around one idea from TikTok: the Ballon d'Or AI filter, where someone appears at a glittering football gala, hears their own name read out and walks up to collect a golden ball. You supply a single photo of one adult. A video model then renders a short vertical 9:16 MP4 of an invented awards evening starring that person, dressed for a black-tie night, applauded by a crowd and lifting a plain gold sphere on stage. There is no script to type and no camera work on your side.

Why a golden ball video maker exists

Clips made with the Ballon d'Or AI filter spread quickly because they are funny to share. A common use is the family prank: send the video to mum or dad and watch them ask when the ceremony took place. We wanted a simple place to make that kind of clip from your own picture, with a clear page that tells you plainly what is real and what is generated.

Make a Golden Ball Night video

Golden Ball Night is available now through the video maker on our homepage. Sign in, upload a photo of yourself or another consenting adult, choose the available settings and review the credit cost before starting your video. You need enough credits to render; the maker shows the current options and total before you confirm.

Not connected to the real award

Ballon d'Or AI is a fan-made project run independently. France Football, the organizers of the Ballon d'Or, every football club and every player have nothing to do with it: they have not endorsed, sponsored or reviewed this site. The trophy in our videos is a generic golden ball, not the real one. We do not use club crests, competition logos, broadcast graphics or the likeness of any real footballer, and no clip claims that the person in it won the actual prize. The award name only describes the trend people search for.

What the maker does, and its limits

Rendering is handled by third-party AI video models, such as Seedance, reached through an outside API provider. Your photo is the visual reference for the face and general look; the model then plays out the fixed sequence of the scene, from the name call to the walk and the lift. Because every frame is generated, results differ between runs. Faces can shift slightly, suits and dresses may not match your photo, hands can look odd, and the crowd is invented. Please watch each clip before you send it to anyone.

Credits and billing

The service runs on credits. One-time packs start at $9.99 for 10 credits, and monthly plans start at $29.90 for 100 credits. One-time pack credits never expire. Check the pricing page for current packs and plans, and the maker for the credit cost of your chosen video settings. Payments are taken by a third-party payment processor, not stored by us. If a render fails or is stopped by a safety filter, its credits go back to your balance automatically. Finished videos appear in My Creations.

The people running Ballon d'Or AI

A small team maintains the product interface, the checkout, support email and the written pages. Our Editorial Policy sets out how we check claims, date revisions and fix errors. We do not publish user counts, rankings or speed figures we cannot show evidence for.

Rules for fair use

You must be 18 or older. Upload only a photo of yourself or of another adult who has agreed to it. Photos of minors, of professional footballers, of celebrities or of anyone who has not given consent are not allowed. Label shared clips as AI-generated where the platform lets you, and never pass a clip off as real ceremony footage. The complete rules sit in our Terms of Service.
